Why integrate Trello with your Glip account?

Trello’s project management app is an excellent way for teams to manage tasks together by using a shared visual view of each project’s status. 

And if your team uses RingCentral collaboration and team messaging app, you can pull your Trello updates right into your Glip workspace, so you and your team can be notified right in Glip anytime someone creates, moves, or updates a Trello card or board you’re involved in.

What Trello events and activities can I receive in my Glip workspace?

After you’ve integrated your Trello account into your Glip workspace (we’ll show you how below), you can customize which events you and your team will receive and how. 

For example:

Receive Glip notifications when someone creates, updates, or adds to a Trello board. 

Receive Glip notifications when someone creates, moves, or adds a comment or attachment to a Trello card. 

Receive Glip notifications when someone creates a Trello checklist, adds an item to that checklist, or marks the checklist complete or incomplete. 

How do I integrate Trello into my Glip account?

If you already have a Trello account, the process is easy and will take just a minute.

Click on the  Integrations  heading on the left pane of your Glip dashboard. 

How do I integrate Trello with Glip?

That will bring up the Available Integrations page in your dashboard’s center pane and from there you can click on Trello.

You can also click on the gear settings icon next to any of your People or Teams, which will bring up a drop-down menu. From there, you can click Add Integration

How do I add integration?

The app will then ask you to Add Trello Integration to an existing conversation in your Glip workspace or to create a new team to pull in your Trello events and other updates.

After you’ve selected a Glip conversation or created a new Glip team for your Trello updates, you’ll be taken to a Trello authentication page asking for your permission to let Glip Notifications pull events into Glip from your account. That screen will look like this:

Once your Glip and Trello accounts have made friends, you’ll have the chance to specify which types of Trello events you want to add to your Glip communication streams.

Note: You can change which notifications you want pulled into your Glip account anytime by clicking Integrations in the left pane and accessing Trello in the My Integrations area of your Glip workspace.

Now you can view, share, and respond to your Trello updates without having to leave Glip.
