Why connect Stripe with your Glip service?

If you use Stripe’s payment platform to power your e-commerce business, you and your team are probably constantly checking your Stripe dashboard for updates.

Maybe your system just charged a customer’s credit card (Yay!) or issued a refund (Boo!). That's why Glip has teamed up with Stripe to integrate our apps. With this integration you can pull any or all of your Stripe notifications right into your Glip communication streams.

What Stripe updates can I receive in my Glip workspace?

After you’ve integrated your Stripe and Glip accounts (we’ll walk you through the easy process below), you can customize what types of notifications you and your team will receive. 

For example: 

Let Glip notify you when your Stripe account charges a customer’s credit card. 

Let Glip notify you when your Stripe account issues a refund. 

Let Glip notify you when an event like a new subscriber or a dispute is recorded. 

Let Glip notify you when a new order is created in your Stripe account. 

Let Glip notify you when a new customer is added to your Stripe account. 

How do I integrate Stripe into my Glip account?

If you already have a Stripe account, the process is easy and will take just a minute. 

Click on the Integrations heading on the left pane of your Glip dashboard.  

How do I integrate Stripe with Glip?

That will bring up the  Available Integrations  page in your dashboard’s center pane, and from there you can click on Stripe. The interface you’ll see in the center pane will look like this: 

You can also click on the gear settings icon next to any of your People or Teams, which will bring up a drop-down menu. From there, you can click Add Integration.

How do I add integration?

The app will then ask you to Add Stripe Integration to an existing conversation in your Glip workspace or to create a new team to pull in your Stripe updates.

Once you’ve selected where in Glip you want to have your Stripe notifications delivered, Glip will ask you to connect to your Stripe account. That screen will look like this:

This will take you to a page on the Stripe site where you’ll be asked if you want to give Glip permission to pull your Stripe notifications into your Glip communication streams. It’ll take just a moment for your Glip and Stripe accounts to become friends. At that point, you’ll have the chance to specify which types of Stripe updates you want delivered to your Glip workspace.

When you’ve chosen which Stripe events and messages you want to pull into Glip, and which conversations and teams to send them to, you’re all set. Now you can see, share, and respond to your Stripe updates right in Glip. 

And the best part?
Stripe integration is free to all Glip users.
